The Finance Department, after reviewing status of 90 PSUs / Corporations of the State Government, inter-alia directed to take steps to amalgamate (a) Gluconate Health Limited; (b) W.B. Pharmaceutical & Phytochemical Development Corporation Ltd. and (c) The Electro Medical & Allied Industries Limited with West Bengal Medical Services Corporation Limited (WBMSC).
In the first phase, the Scheme of amalgamation of Gluconate Health Limited (Transferor Company) with West Bengal Medical Services Corporation Limited (Transferee Company) is in progress.
